It's a GIRL!
Drew
Drew has grown so much! He has so much fun exploring and finding trouble. A week after he's first birthday he started walking! He walks now more then he crawls. He thinks he can run sometimes, which lands him on his butt! Drew's earned a few nicknames around our house. The most popular one is Caption Destructo! He's a little tornado, into everything! He keeps us on our toes and keeps us laughing! Here's a few pictures to enjoy!

Happy Birthday Drew
Our little boy has turned one today! I can't believe how fast this year has gone! It really seems like yesterday that we found out he was on his way! Wow...what a year! :)
Our special little boy had two birthday parties! The first one was up at Uncle Justin's. It was his first experience with cake and he wasn't sure at first! Ryan helped along the way by pushing his head into the cake! :) Drew caught on and soon dug in! He was a happy boy!
Tonight we had a second small party for him with presents and cake and a few friends! Drew needed no encouragement this time around! He got right to eating and kept asking for more! Here are a few more pictures from tonight!

Crunch Crunch....Munch Munch
Will someone please explain to me why my stomach continues to tell my brain that I must stuff my face.....CONTINUOUSLY?
I never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but in all honestly, I'm tired of eating!
....gotta go...my stomach is calling!

9 months and counting...
As the shock slowly settles, I'm able to gather my thoughts on our recent discovery and post our precious news! :) Last week, I noticed my "monthly friend" was late and thought could I....NO....I can't. I have taken the necessary steps to insure my "monthly friend" visit MONTHLY!
So three tests later, I delivered the news to my unsuspecting husband! It's official, we have another baby on the way. (What is the deal with the water in this city!!)
Our precious little child is due Sept. 1st. We'll have a 18th month old and newborn in the house!!! (someone pinch me!) Ryan's excited about it! He said "Oh good, I like playing with my brother". Then the other day he said "Mom, I hope the baby in your belly is a girl cause I already have a brother." Secretly, we all are hoping for a girl this time around. But, if it's a boy, He and Drew are going to have so much fun together! We'll find out what God has in store in a few months!
I'm feeling pretty good this time around. The nausea hits daily but doesn't stay around like with the other two pregnancies. I'm tired but with Drew running around I don't have a choice to rest which seems to be good for me. I'm determined to eat healthy and walk during this pregnancy. I do not want to gain 50 lbs with this one like I did with Drew! So check in with me and don't let me be lazy!

All I want for Christmas is My two front teeth!
Look at that grill!
Ryan has lost his first two baby teeth! I thought it was two earlier for this process to begin, but sure enough they feel out only a few days after he bit into an apple and said his teeth hurt! It took some convincing to get him to pull them out. Once the first one feel out, he was ready for the second one! His favorite part was finding money from the tooth fairy!
Our little boy has crossed another milestone!

Our Crazy Life
Looks like another change for us!
We're headed to Texas.....again! :) San Antonio to be exact!
To keep a long story short, Jay had a job and then got laid off on Monday due to the price of copper! So with out a job and our own home, we've decided the best "next step" will be to head back to a place where we are comfortable. So Texas........
HERE WE COME!
I'll try my best to keep the blog update full of pictures and stories!
Wish us luck on yet another wild ride in our crazy, beautiful life! :)

Good laugh
The video below shows no boundary to our need for laughter!
Poor Drew was minding his own business playing with his daddy when out of the blue........
ps....that's Jay doing the cadence

Tasty Spoon
We took this video at a Mexican restaurant. Drew was looking very interested in our dinner so I gave him a taste of my refried beans....on my metal spoon. He didn't like the spoon very much!
Our Bow Hunter
Jay and Ryan spent all summer watching bow hunting on tv! So Ryan decided he wanted his own. That sent him on a summer long mission of earning enough money to buy his own bow! Finally, after months of doing extra jobs around the house and saving his money, he bought his first bow last month! We thought you'd enjoy some of the first pictures!

Already 6 months old
Can you believe that Drew is already 6 months old?
He is doing so well! He eats like a horse and I can't seem to keep up with his food intake now! Drew has started to learning how to crawl! I'm definitely not ready for this yet! I thought I had a good 4 months still. Drew has different plans! I knew from the beginning he was going to want to be in the middle of life! He's so strong and puts himself up on all fours and rocks back and forth. I'm sure soon enough he'll figure out how to put one leg in front of the other! YICKS! He is able to sit on his own now (with a few topples when he looses focus!) We can't take our eyes off him because he's a fast little wiggle worm!
His last doctors appointment went well. We've canceled his upper GI observation. His doctor is confident he doesn't have any issues with swallowing. Unfortunately, she does believe that he has asthma. So we are continuing to keep him on 4 breathing treatments a day until he gets to a "normal" breathing level. We now have asthma class and monthly doctors appointments to look forward too!
Drew has earned a new nickname in the house. We call him Ham Bone because he loves to smile! He'll smile at anyone who talks to him and his smile lights up his whole face! He especially loves when I bring my camera out! Such a ham!
Drew makes us laugh everyday! He is a beautiful addition to our family!

Baby Drew
It's been a few weeks since Drew's appointment. I thought I could post an update.
Drew's appointment went well. His doctor examined him and explained to us that there is no clear way to diagnosis an infant with asthma. It's a combination of family history, symptoms, and reaction to medicine. She decided that Drew has the family history and the symptoms. So she started him on a regiment of medications to see how he would react to it. He gets a breathing treatment every 4 hours and a liquid steroid in the morning. He hates the mask and I have to put Baby Einsteins on to convince him to sit still! :)
He's been on the meds now for 2 weeks. His symptoms have improved and he seems to getting better.
They are also checking the way he swallows something called an upper GI pass....I think! :) That's at the first of October.
He has another appointment next week and to determine how the meds are working. I'll let you know!

It's offical!
Jay got the JOB!
He'll be working in Morenci at the Processing Technology Plant. (translation) He'll be pulling dirt samples and testing them with chemicals. He starts next Friday!
We've very excited. He'll still be going to school while he's working, but sitting around the house this long as been agonizing! It's been a LONG transition since March 11, 2007 and we're hoping that this is the beginning of "normal" life! (wish us luck on achieving normalcy! LOL)
So it looks like we'll be staying in this area for a while at least. Perhaps a house purchase is in our future? We shall see!
Well that's the good news from the Lynn house!
