I've decided to simplify our blog in hopes to stay up to date with it a little better.

Hello Life....
Nice to see you again! :)
So, as you all know that past three years have been C-RA-Z-Y for us! During this crazy, Jay and I have learned to cope through yummy delicous food! (I think food has always been a feel good thing for me...but I took it to far through the past three years) We've allowed ourselves to get lost in eating and have stopped trying to "show restraint". Basically, everything else was out of our control the past three years but food! :) Well now we've stop to look in the mirror and we just don't like what we see, how we feel, and what this lack of energy has done to our family dynamics. On top of all that, I turn 30 this July. I am bound and determined not to turn 30 feeling 50. It just isn't right! I should be loving life right now not complaining about how tired I am or how my back hurts.
At any rate, Jay and I have decided to do something about this! We've started working out at a gym every morning and are in the process of completely changing the way we see food, use food, and cook food. We're three weeks in and we are feeling great. Sure I wish there was an overnight remedy for dropping all this weight, but we certainly didn't put all this on overnight so it won't be coming off that way either! We are averaging about 3 lbs a week. The energy has returned, our drive for life is coming back, and the gym has childcare so we get a two hour break every day! he he he ;)
I thought I'd share this with everyone just so that you'd know. We're working hard and seeing the results. Maybe I'll even be brave enough to post some pictures soon............probably not! :)

Update on Abigail-Grace
Our little miss is almost 9 months old! I can't believe it. She is sincerely growing so fast! Miss Abbie has been a true blessing to our family. She has soften the boys and melted Daddy's heart. She's brought the inner girl out of me. (a thing I thought truly never really existed!) Abigail is crawling all over the house. She has discovered how to pull up everything! She is in the middle of cutting her top two teeth, so she is not a happy camper without Tylenol! :)
We are discovering her little personality daily. She loves to cuddle (something I dearly enjoy), chase around her big brothers, and sleep in Daddy's lap. Make her laugh and her giggle will light up the house. She thinks Ryan and Drew are the funniest things in this world. Ryan and Drew think she is the cutest thing! Drew will look at her all dressed up and say "how cute" in Drew slang! (I'm sure he got that from me!)
Here are a few pictures I took of her when she was 6 months:

Foto Friday.....and a little more
It's been months since my last post! Life has been all sorts of crazy. It's been good, bad, and ugly. (which explains the lack of posts....cause really who wants to hear about the bad and ugly) I am back in a place where I can focus on the good though, so be patient with me as I try to catch you up on a few Lynn updates!
Let's start by getting back to Foto Friday's:

Hang on Cowboy!
For three years, Ryan has been asking to mutton bust (ride on the back of a sheep). I have successfully put it off until now. However, now Ryan is no longer able to ride sheep because he is to big. It's on to bigger things, a calf!
This weekend we packed up the kids. Headed up to Midland TX and put Ryan on his first calf! Here is the video:

Christmas Vacation
** so we tried the monkey backpack with Drew. He decided he wanted to throw the rocks. So Jay held the "leash" just far enough for him not to reach it. Drew thought....let me low crawl to them....they'll never notice! He made it to the edge of the concrete, wrapped his little fingers around the ledge and held on for dear life! Notice Jay and I are laughing....hysterically!!! Poor baby Drew's face is bright red! Poor Poor Baby Drew!

Walking with Dinosaurs
Back in November, dinosaurs came to San Antonio! Ryan LOVES dinosaurs so we couldn't let this opportunity pass us by. The show was really great and much better then we expected it to be! Ryan and Drew were mesmerized by the sights and sound of these huge creatures. Here are a few pictures of that fun night!

Grandma Heather broke her leg and came to stay with us while she recovered! The kids had fun taking rides in the wheelchair!
Notice the man in the bottom left of the picture. He was tiny compared to the size of the T-Rex! This mommy T-Rex was protecting her baby and she had a roar that shook your core!
